Thusanang

Thusanang is a SeTswana word meaning 'helping hands'. This is a project that began a couple of years ago in our circuit, but which has been fairly quiet of late. The emphasis within the project has been on helping people to help themselves - we have taught gardening, cooking and small business skills, in the hope that it will enable unemployed people to stand on their own two feet, rather than depend on handouts.
