Our home groups run small group courses throughout the year. For courses that are presently being offered to the larger congregation, choose from the options in the menu on your left for details.

NMC Alpha course

We are very excited about the Alpha course that NMC will be hosting from 10 August.

Paper flyers will be distributed this Sunday morning, but you can register online now - and save some trees ;)

Sheldon It's been exciting to see some talented young musicians getting involved in our worship team - so much so that we're almost at the point where we could form a second full team (with Matshi on bass, Stanford on electric guitar and Sheldon, Lebo and Jason on drums).

They are all fairly new to their instruments but are making incredible progress. Look out for them because pretty soon they'll be up front leading worship! Here are Stan (guitar) and Sheldon (drums) giving it stick at last night's practice. (More pics to follow on Facebook)

We've just finished a basic rhythm guitar course (look out for some of the 'graduates' in the NMC worship team soon!). This Tuesday night from 6:30pm Kym will be starting a series of basic drum lessons for anyone keen to master this subtle art. There is a strong rumour that a spot will be opening up on the team when the resident drummer goes on maternity leave in December...

We had a full house at the manse last night with a number of families new to KMC and NMC joining us for supper. We got to hear each others' stories and talked a little about the two churches and what it means to be a member of the church. Kym produced a mountain of good food - we will be working through the leftovers in the coming days...

In the next couple of weeks a four week new members course will begin (probably running at the manse on Wednesday evenings) and all are welcome to join us for that - more details to follow.
